A delegation plugin for Codex by MoriTech
One prompt.
The right team.
Orchestrator assesses a task, recommends solo work or a bounded team, and lets you choose every agent, model, and reasoning level before work begins.

Choose agents
This demo records choices only. It does not call models or launch agents.
Auto-accept is off. Start the example to preview the 30-second policy.
Execution summary
A deliberate handoff from prompt to execution
The selector makes the plan visible before delegation. You can keep the recommendation, tune it, or continue with the main agent alone.
- 01
Assess
Read the task and decide whether independent work would help.
- 02
Propose
Suggest the smallest useful team with bounded assignments and dependencies.
- 03
Choose
Edit selections, models, and reasoning or add a specialist of your own.
- 04
Execute & validate
Run approved work in dependency order, then review the integrated result.
Parallel where it helps.
Accountable all the way through.
Orchestrator recommends delegation only when work can be owned independently. A team can exceed the concurrency limit because dependent work is scheduled in later waves.
- Selectable agents. Every suggested or custom agent has a concrete assignment and editable runtime settings.
- Owned fixes. The coordinator routes defects back to the agent responsible for that work.
- Integrated validation. The main agent reviews handoffs and runs the final checks. Solo and uncovered work stays with it.
Install Orchestrator locally
Run one command to download and install Orchestrator. It sets up the local runtime, planning skill, MCP registration, and prompt hook while preserving existing settings and keeping backups.
View installer source- 1
Use macOS or Linux with Bash, curl, Node.js 22 or newer, npm, and the Codex CLI installed.
- 2
Copy and run the command below in your terminal. No browser download or GitHub login is needed.
- 3
The installer downloads to a temporary folder, verifies its checksum, and runs automatically.
bash -o pipefail -c 'curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/guiligan/codex-orchestrator/v1.1.0/install.sh | bash'
Next, open /hooks in Codex, review and trust the installed hook, then restart Codex and begin a new chat. See the official hooks guide. Prefer a download? Download installer manually or Download the ZIP for manual setup.
Compatibility and behavior
Practical details for the local Codex workflow.
Which workflow does Orchestrator support?
It is built for Codex: the skill evaluates the prompt, the selector records your choices, and Codex coordinates the selected team.
Does it work with Claude?
The planning pattern may be adaptable, but a Claude integration has not been tested. No compatibility is promised.
Is running the installer enough?
The installer configures the local pieces. You still need to review and trust the prompt hook in /hooks, then restart Codex and begin a new chat.
How does the 30-second acceptance work?
The countdown starts only after the selector is opened for a proposal. Any meaningful interaction permanently stops automatic acceptance for that proposal. The page demo requires you to start it explicitly.
Why restart Codex?
A fresh Codex session loads the installed skill, MCP server registration, and the hook after you trust it.
